The difference
Other trackers are empty containers
They mark down what you have, and that’s where it ends. Cardstribe connects your collection to everyone else’s: you’re inside the only community built just for card games, and from there a card gets found, traded, sold.
The tribe
The world is too big. Your tribe isn’t.
A tribe narrows the search. Not “someone, somewhere in the world, has this card”, but “four people here have it, two of them six kilometres away”. Every closed trade leaves a review that stays on the profile.

- Reputation with one rating each: no little stars inflated by repeat trades.
- Public profile only if you switch it on. The social part is optional, always.
The scanner
An AI that doesn’t guess
The AI reads only what is printed on the card — name, number, language — the way your own eye would. Which card it actually is gets settled afterwards by a fixed rule, not the AI. So if something doesn’t add up, it tells you “not found” instead of inventing a wrong but convincing one.

The price
The price it actually sells at
It looks at the real offers from other sellers for the same card, throws out the parking listings — the common card kept at €10,000 so it never sells — and gives you the real price. At startup it also flags your own cards that are off the market: one tap and you align them.

One scan, and you’re on sale
A scanned card is already ready to publish: price, condition and language filled in. You publish on your account, with your token — encrypted on our server, never inside the app. Payments and shipping stay between you and the platform.

What it doesn’t do (said up front)
Automatic recognition that promises 100% is lying. Here are the real limits, measured:
- Some reprints can’t be told apart from the face of the main print: they get matched to it, and you fix them by hand from the “Print” selector.
- Prices are an indication, not a professional appraisal. You decide the price.
- Pokédex, illustrator view and artwork archive are Pokémon only for now. Scanning, pricing and selling work for all four games.
Questions
Do my photos end up somewhere?
The photo of the card is sent to Google Gemini to be read, and we don’t keep it. What stays in your history from that scan is a 220 pixel thumbnail, so you can recognise the row: you delete it whenever you want by clearing the history. The full details are in the privacy policy.
Which games can I manage?
Pokémon, Magic, Yu-Gi-Oh! and One Piece: scanning, pricing and selling work for all of them. A few extras — the per-species Pokédex, the illustrator view, the artwork archive — are Pokémon only for now, because they’re built on its catalogue.
Where does my CardTrader token end up?
Encrypted on our server (AES-256-GCM), not inside the APK: anyone who decompiles an app can read what’s inside the app, so it isn’t in there. You disconnect it whenever you want, and you can revoke it from your CardTrader panel — worth doing, because a CardTrader token in practice never expires.
Can I sell on eBay too?
CardTrader is live now: you publish on your account, with your token. eBay arrives at launch. Either way you’re the one selling, on your own account: payments and shipping stay a matter between you and the platform, Cardstribe never touches the money.
How much does it cost?
The app is free. Every scan costs us a fraction of a cent in AI processing, and that’s why there is a monthly cap per user: it’s a barrier against abuse, not a meter to watch — a heavy user stays well inside it.
Why is there no camera on the web?
Because capture is a native component, and the measured accuracy is measured on those frames. Rebuilding it in the browser would mean measuring everything again from scratch. Everything else — valuation from an image, inventory, price health, history, tribe — works on the web.
How do I delete my account?
In the app settings there’s Delete account: you confirm it’s you (your password, or your email if you signed in with Google) and a 30-day grace period starts, during which signing back in is enough to cancel everything. Once the deadline passes, the data is deleted. Prefer email? Write to info@tiber-valley.com from the address you signed up with. Scan history and the CardTrader connection you can already remove whenever you want, again from the settings.
